Must say I have never heard a Blur song I didn't like. I like the way they don't take themselves in the least bit seriously either.

Always a fan of Blur and used to have arguments with my sister over them and Oasis. Although in saying that, I've always had a soft spot for Pulp.

Pulp's album Different Class was epic but This is Hardcore is a tough listen and i think the nband meant it too be.

They're both quality albums. He's a great lyricist.

some of their best stuff is as good as oasis best stuff, but i think they've had a lot more bag of sh*t than oasis aswell, blurs lead guitarist (graham coxon) is a better guitarist than anyone who's played in oasis, the one time they went head to head in the charts blur got number 1 (country house) oasis was number 2 (roll with it) both s*ite songs, but thats the public charts for yeh.

but yeh believe it or not i do prefer oasis

For me, can't beat what Oasis were about (when comapred with Blur) all working class lads who made it big time. Noel is a genius, no matter what anyone says, they appealed to a generation, there will never be another band like Oasis, and there will never be another album like Definitely Maybe. Blur never had that, they had a few hits, that was it. Oasis were are and forever will be better.
