Why are there so many people on here saying BB11 is an "amazing series", when clearly it isn't...

It's been quite boring so far. The housemates aren't all that great. Who the **** is Ife, Nathan and Steve? They don't do jack ****. Caoimhe's boring as well.

There's only 3 good housemates like JJ, Shabby and Corin. The rest are ****.

There's no booze in there so no funny moments. BB10 was better, they had fun and had amazing housemates like Marcus, and even mentally disabled people like Sree who was hilarious sometimes.

WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE BB11 SO MUCH??? It's mediocre at best! Have you lowered your standards?!!?!?

I am liking it.. and Moley's, Ben's and Dave's bromance!! there is bitching in this series too.. However.. I am looking forward to newbies.. The newbies best come within the next 2 weeks or NOW. Not too late like bb10!!

The tasks and the organisation of the tasks (so slow) has not been so good imo. The depth of the HMs will be revealed as it goes on but I'm not too hopeful at present.

They put too many boring people in. Josie, Nathan, Dave, Steve, Ife, Caiomhe, and Mario do nothing. I can MAYBE see Ife and Caiomhe developing into entertaining characters but thats it.

The only people who are even remotely entertaining are John James, Shabby, Sunshine, Ben, Govan, and Corin.

Dave is the worst of them all IMO. He tries to be the mediator that stops people from getting heated. The producers probably thought he was going to be wacko and crazy but really he's just dull as ****.

I think its been alright so far, i wouldnt say amazing it could have done with some better housemates but im still enjoying it.

BB10 was better at this stage. There is something wrong I can't point out about this series. We'll see but as for now, I don't have big hopes for it, the producers are trying way too hard.

I have enjoyed it so far, but sat night wasnt steller on LF.

It's definitly the lack of booze.

I am fine with things as they are HM wise, happy to treat sat night as a blip, but if another weeks goes by and they are still being given the tiny amounts of alcohol they have been we will be in trouble.

We have had the 'getting to know you' stage now and they have settled into comfortable spaces. Things need shaking up, and booze is a great shaker.

Do BB really think they can run a (99%) dry house and it be a classic series?

Saying that, I don't get the ranty tone of the OP...

I hate how everyone says Nathan and Ife have no personalty! If you actully watched live feed Ife is probably the funniest/randomest housemate in there she cracks me up.

And Nathan is a proper Jack the lad character who is defo not quiet.

Its the ****ing producers not giving them ANY airtime whatsoever its so unfair!

She might've done 1 or 2 random things but that's not enough in 11 days in the house. She is a nobody and crap housemate. She makes Gos from BB4 look entertaining.

look, the problem so far isnt the HMs, it's the lack of teeth in BB and their fear of controversy. The lack of booze is a direst result of this and that is the main issue.

Also, look at the HMs that have been voted out early in the past.. the loud ones. If I was a HM in there this year I would also be keeping it quiet while the morons arouind me imploded in the first 1-3 weeks. We have taught them how to act by punishing those that stand out. Being loud in the early days is just suicide.

plus If they do more days of 'lets be nice' to HMs I will probably start to get bored myself.

It's hard to judge, but it is all a bit 'meh' considering it is the final series and you would have thought the producers would want it to go out with a bang. New faces are need....and quickly.

Nothing on BB10 yet, but then again it hasn't been long at all so there is still alot of time for improvement.

This is true. I really am surprised the housemates have had so little alcohol in the last week. Alcohol helps make series great. Obviously you need the core elements like housemates and tasks, but alcohol enhances the show.

yeah for sure.

I just think it's really hard to honestly judge a house full of continously sober HMs vs past houses full of pissed ones. we just dont know how they would be under the same circumstance (ie pissed).

personally I like about 3 of the HMs quite a lot, and obviously Josie very much, but now they have settled in things need stirring.

I have faith though, for now.

They barely had big parties, no alcohol and they're in bed rather early. In France, the housemates have big parties almost every night and aren't in bed up until 4am.

In UK, when the housemates DO have parties (once every 4 weeks), they play rubbish music, they barely have alcohol. It looks like British people don't know how to party. Hopefully, from having lived in England a bit, I know they do. They look boring this year.
Back in BB5 and BB6, they knew how to have a proper party.
