I have noticed they are steering away from this in the Highlights and considering they will stretch the bounds of credulity to edit him as nefarious, judgmental - is especially telling they won't highlight the 'drunken glory'.

Considering what happened to Keeley last week during S&R should Dave be allowed to take part in S&R today if he is under the influence ....I mean when he claims to be hammered he is apparently unable to string a sensible sentence together,surely he shouldn't be allowed to do anything physical and if its mental well he's fcuked or does the lord not make him hammered when there is a chance to stay on TV a bit longer.

I think when the tasks come up and St Dave needs to be in command, the Lord only gives him whats known as a snifter a taster, not a full blown Session. Occasionally though St Dave does drink himself sober on the Love of the Lord.
