I know im surprised that they went with that as it was one of his least popular performances of the series.

im not suprised in the slightest, the producers forced it, its obvious, reet petit was his best performance by a million miles, he polled higher than little mix that week even though they had the pimp slot, i seriously believe if he would have sang reet petit and white christmas as originally planned he would have won the final, however the producers seeing him just 5% behind going into the final put there foot down and had him singing higher and higher and a cringeworthy wham song, in the end it proved crucial

Tbf Kitty was better than Johnny and it was only her 2nd time in the bottom two at that point.
