A free pizza is being offered to all men who choose to have a vasectomy during March, with the added bonus that they'll be able to watch basketball while recovering.

After the 15-minute vasectomy procedure in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, patients will be given a voucher to redeem at Surf's Up Pizza & Seafood in exchange for a margarita, pepperoni or Hawaiian pizza.

They are then encouraged to get between two days and one week's worth of rest by watching the NCAA's college basketball tournament at home.

Evan Cohen, Cape Cod's Manager of Urology Associates, told ABC News: "It's kind of a touchy subject... We're trying to make it light so it's easier to talk about."

It is estimated that millions of people falsely call in sick to watch the NCAA finals. Vasectomy consultations also increase in March as some prefer to recover over the early spring as opposed to the summer.

"We see about 100 consults in March when we typically may only have 20 to 30 [in other months]," explained Cohen. "We wanted men to relax and give them an excuse to watch the game."

The clinic produced a television advert promoting the offer with the tagline: "Hey guys! Want to watch the college basketball tournament guilt-free?"
