I've been to the Grand Canyon, and pictures don't do it justice, it really is one of those places that you have to see to understand. Pictures cannot capture the scale of it.

It really looked like a video game, it looked like computer graphics. It didn't look real, even standing in front of it.

The lake is pink because of bacteria I think, I've read about it before.

That picture of Namibia is taken when the sun is rising, the orange is sand dunes iirc and the blue is the desert floor before the sun has properly risen. Pretty cool.
