Patrick Robinson says he may be out of Strictly Come Dancing after hurting his hand


Strictly Come Dancing star Patrick Robinson says he has suffered a hand injury that could jeopardise his future in Strictly Come Dancing.

The Casualty actor revealed that he was hurt on Twitter this morning - a day before the next round of the BBC1 dance show.

He told his followers: "Owwwww! My hand is not good... Might be out of competition."

For this week's show Robinson had been rehearsing a salsa to Wings by Little Mix, which included three lifts, but now he looks to be unable to manage to get professional partner Anya Garnis airborne.

Show bosses are now trying to find out exactly what he has done to see if his routine can be adapted in time.



He has already been in pain during the contest. Earlier in the series Robinson was forced to wear supports on both knees after excessive training for the jive left him with sore joints.

Oh c'mon that's dumb, you don't really need a hand to dance.

Bill Nye on the US version tore something in his knee and he still found a way to dance the following week although he was eliminated.
