Love is definitely in the air on tonight’s Big Brother 2014.



There are at least two budding romances as housemates try to avoid eviction come clean with their feelings.

First up is Ash and Helen, with Ash declaring: “If I end up staying something might happen, eventually.”

He tells Winston: “I don’t want to ****ing try it on and then I’d just be like, feel a bit weird about it.

“I’m just good mates with her, I’d rather like have a lark for a bit instead of trying it on and making it well weird”

Ash adds: “She knows that I like her a bit now.”

Meanwhile, Steven is seen claiming to Matthew that he suspects both Jale and Danielle are trying to warn Kimberly off him.

He may have a point as elsewhere Danielle tells Kimberly: “You would wait until you’re both out and see how you are the outside world.



But she admits: “I’m just worried that it will just ******ing happen anyway.”

Later, the pair have a heart to heart as Steven swears he would never hurt her.

“I would never, ever, ever engage with somebody that I thought genuinely there was no future,” he begins. “There’s fun, there’s happiness, there’s enjoying people’s company but I would never, ever, ever make a statement unless I knew the person could potentially be seen as a partner rather than a friend.”

He goes on: “Hopefully if I stay on Friday you’ll get to know me more and understand that I’m not that type of person, never have been, never will be.

“So I don’t want you to ever worry about trust or anything like that. I know you’re a girl and it’s only natural but rest assured I’d never do anything

But he has liked Kim from day one. A romance doesn't mean you're more likely to stay. Quite the opposite. look at Tamera.

Actually that's a very good point Vanessa. If showmances would give housemates a bit of extra time then Tamara would still be in the house and Danielle would be out last week. Also Stephen was chatting Kim up the very first night in the house. I don't really want them to get together cos she is too good for him but if they do they do it wouldn't turn me off Kim

I think he likes her, but i'm actually a bit war of her. I find her so cold.

Ash is only latched onto Helen cos Kim doesn't fancy him. He is spurned after she reading out her nominations saying that she nominated him. Since then she said she was the housemate he least trusted, that he thought she was the power housemate and joined in with the sexual innuendo with Marlon. He wasn't going to try his luck with Danielle, Ashleigh has a boyfriend, Toya would eat him for breakfast, Pauline is too old for him so Helen was the only option

I think it's because everyone has been telling Ash he should get with hell. Because the first time they asked him he said no. A couple of the boys have continued to motivate him to go for it. But I don't think he really likes her.

As for Kim and Steven, come on. She's not into him. If she does it, it's because she wants some attention. She has been saying from the beginning how she wouldn't have a showmance.
