Let's be clear, Mark seems extremely eager for a media, showbiz career. I don't think I am wrong in asserting this.

He's done the round of reality shows (Shipwrecked, XF and now this). He clearly has an agenda to be famous whereas the likes of jale and pauline don't.

Don't get me wrong some of the other HMs have media career agendas as well (Ashleigh, Ash to further their modelling careers, Helen to reinvent herself, Winston to be part of TOWIE set which Casey CBB is rumoured to become, Toya's internet presenting, Kimberly to expand upon Playboy as she's not famous enough in US etc).

However Mark is the most blatant and hungry for fame. He's taken a leaf out of Bb2 Brian's 'How to win book'. Camp gay men tend to do surprisingly well in media: obviously Rylan, but also Brian BB2 is still working albeit now for the Sun, Graham Norton, Alan Carr, Paul OGrady, Justin and Collin, Marcus Collins is doing theatre work, Jason Gardiner, Dale Winston etc etc.

There are 3 piers in Blackpool, all 3 have fortune tellers with faded pics of Corrie "stars" who visited. When one of the old crones who work there die then Mark would be ideal.
