| Senior Member | [The makers of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) are suing the BBC over an upcoming drama based on the development of the popular video game series. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of UK-based Rockstar Games, has filed the lawsuit for trademark infringement. The one-off drama is called Game Changer and features Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe as Rockstar president Sam Houser. The feature will coincide with a series of BBC programmes on the theme of computer coding. The show is based around the creation of the game and the controversy surrounding its violent content.] Why the feck is BBCAmerica not asking Rockstar for permission and paying for it? http://news.sky.com/story/1488414/gr...bbc-over-drama Last edited by arista; 21-05-2015 at 04:36 PM. | |||

Very amateur of BBC not to make a show based around an IP without contacting the owners of the IP. They deserve the lawsuit if they cannot be bothered to even work with Rockstar to resolve the issue.
