...this is a bit random but with all the ex-housemates on BOTS tonight (and even Nikki, Brian and Helen in the house) I sat there thinking how weird and cool it was that there were people from different series interacting each other, and it made me think, does it seem weird to anyone else that BB8 came after BB7? And that BB9 came after BB8?
This is soooo random and I'm probably alone in thinking of it but idk, when I think about it, it doesn't seem like they'd be a year after each other at all. Like, BB7 and BB8 were completely different, both looks wise and in the feel of the show IMO, it was the start of the decline after the golden era and then the race row and when I think that they were literally a year apart it feels really weird to me. And then it's the same for BB8 and BB9, that Rachel, Darnell, Kathreya etc followed Brian, Charley, Samanda, cause that was the real point at which the show started to decline in popularity idk it just feels weird to think they were so close to each other, and even that BB9 came two years after BB7 or even three years after BB6, blows my mind ![]() |

Like to me BB9, 10 and 11 all don't seem that different, they feel a year each apart, same with BB6 and 7, series of the same kind of ilk, but with 7 to 8 and 8 to 9, it's just weird, it was like the transition stage of BBUK and they couldn't seem further apart in terms of their style to me

I know what you mean. I think it's because after the race row, BB wasn't allowed to be BB anymore - BB7 was the series that had a housemate scream "I'm a **** ****", two words that would give the OFCOM brigade nightmares for weeks. It became about them trying to be risky as opposed to just honestly showing what these people were saying and thinking.
