Brian Belo has backed his fellow BBUK ‘Time Warp’ housemate Nikki Grahame to win Big Brother Canada 4.

Brian pledged his support to Nikki on the Luke and Lucy FM podcast – hosted by BB9’s Luke Marsden and Lucy Hilton – although he admitted she hasn’t been the most competitive player.

“Do you know what, I really hope she wins Big Brother Canada, just because she’s never won Big Brother before!” Brian commented. “I think part of the reason why Nikki’s still in there is they don’t see her as a threat. They can win over her in all the Head of House competitions.”

Alongside fellow ‘international wildcard’ Tim Dormer, Nikki has made it to BBCAN4’s top seven. She is also one of the two remaining houseguests who have yet to be nominated for eviction.

Meanwhile, Brian also discussed how social media has brought the world of Big Brother together.

“That’s the weird thing now… the housemates all around the world sort of stick up for each other, because they sort of all know what you’ve been through,” Brian said. “We’re an army. The Big Brother housemates… unlike some reality shows, we’re very supportive of each other.”

Brian won BBUK’s eighth series in 2007, and last year returned to the house for its ‘Time Warp’ twist. However, he ended up walking out in a dramatic fashion after an intense argument with Helen Wood, and later blasted Channel 5’s version of the show.

Despite this, Brian is still a BB superfan, telling Luke and Lucy that he’s currently re-watching Channel 4’s third series. “I literally have to watch an episode of Big Brother a day or I have a bad day. I’m deadly serious!” he laughed.

I love how he watches all 4 of the AUS/UK/USA/CAN BB's, and idc about housemates being superfans as it doesn't guarantee good TV but it does make me like him more as a person

I think the huge difference is that he's endearing with how big of a fan he is, while other superfans (of the BBUS/Survivor variety) are just pretentious know-it-alls.
