I always think hate (or love for that matter) is too strong a word for someone you don't even know.

You might think by watching the show you know them, but you have to remember you are only shown what they want to you to see in the highlights and on the live feed. You don't see everything and sometimes it is show from one persons point of view. The editing team overall tend to be fair but how things are edit from show to show can show someone in a poor light one night and in a good light the next.

Another point is life in the house is a natural. It is small and cramped for the number of people in it. Most of the shots are taken with wide angle cameras that make the house look much bigger than it is. Even the light is unnaturally bright for the cameras. It's more like a prison than a house since you can't pop to the shops to get away from the people you live with. This causes greater tensions in the household than would be found with people sharing a normal house. This means their behavior is not what you could call normal. This will affect how they are in he house as will the camera's on them 24/7.

It's to easy to say you hate or love someone in the house when you really mean you dislike them or like them. The problem is using and connecting strong emotional terms to the housemate leads to problems on the board such as arguments and in real life such as the people that send housemates death threats or results in people stalking them to spend time in their company.

As for my opinion of Shilpa she deserves to be the winner of this show, however it is not who I want to win or who would have been the winner if the Goody's hadn't had been allowed into the house. By far the best housemate in the sense of the person you would like to share house with would be Mr Jackson.
