Was the lack of airtime hogging villain what made this series great? i mean there are housemates I hated but they weren't snatching all the attention like Helen or Marc..... Also was vote to evict a good think after all seeing as it got rid of the horrible attention hogs like Marco out early?

It's always good when one housemates doesn't monopolise the attention (ahem Marco ahem).

She was right but vote to evict still sucks and the only reason the evictions weren't to the detriment of the series this year was because of how strong the cast was. It's proof that if you cast well the evictions don't matter, unfortunately that isn't usually the case. Any other year and this eviction pattern would've been just as tragic
Sam/Laura/Ryan and the best eviction in history Sam and Alex is proof that VTS works...with minimal problems |

I do think Natalie should have stayed longer though, the series took a *slight* dip the week after her eviction before it picked up again |

lol if this series was VTS we would have lost people like Emma and Jayne in the early weeks and be stuck with Marco and Georgina

I suppose it's nice to have a "villain" character who was actually a villain in the context of the game as opposed to a massive **** in the context of everything win

Emma was spot on, the problem with BB15 and 16 was that Helen and Marc dominated everything (and the Power HM and timebomb twists were badly handled). BB17 has succeeded because most of the cast shined and, aside form Marco, there were no overpowering characters plus no awful nomination twists either.
Now if they only drop the painfully manufactured drama tasks.... Last edited by Tom4784; 27-07-2016 at 01:09 AM. |

They need to understand that drama will occur naturally if they let it. They don't need to manipulate proceedings.
