Does this mean The team captains are automatically safe ? , or do they have influence who to save?? . Or is it just every man for themselves in this challenge?

No, the team captains compete to build the perfect team - and the winning team get immunity. They do it every year it's nothing new.

it only saves someone for a day so its hardly a big deal. The celebs all get their appearance money and when they get the boot they are living the life of luxury, so winning is probably the least attractive option
