I actually don't mind him, he would've lost at this election on his brexit stance too though so why that makes him a better bet than Corbyn I don't know.

Is he really? And who's favourite is he ...the press?

He was a fervent remainer so not favoured by the leave voting ex labour voters.
He's not a Corbynites so not in that camp
Where is his support base?

What’s wrong with a remainer, maybe if Jeremy had actually come out as remain he might have garnered more support, his wishy washy stance sunk him
