…yeah I read this earlier…more sad news for retail and many, many workers losing an income and having to look for another…very sad/difficult and unsettling times…

Not surprised at this tbh, went in there last week to look at some carpet, took my stair measurements guy who I assume was some kind of manager took a cursory look at the measurements and said oh yeah you need 11 square meters, wasn't very helpful when I asked about different types and what would suit best, and when I asked how long it would take to fit he said oh it would be quite fast...4 weeks

went to a local family firm, they came out to measure same day, ...same carpet....half the price....ordered came in the following day and was due to be fitted 5 days later but they had a gap so fitted it last Monday so 3 days from first enquiry..... oh and it was 8 square meters......
