Default Why dont people like Game Players?

I have always hated people saying he(she) got a gameplan, or he is there to win. Cause I really dont understand it! Everytime someone act sneaky to avoid eviction, or get somebody evicted, it seems people start to hate that person. I thought that was the point of the game. I watched BB USA 4 da first time, and I totally enjoyed it, because everyone in there are playing games. They form alliances, they eliminate the competition, and its so much fun. But in BB UK (which I love by the way), it seems whenever you do this, its like a sin. I wish people would embrace those who play to win, after all its just a game. Its not real life where you have to be totally upfront. Anyways, just my thoughts!

If U wanna watc BB USA

I completely agree, I don't know why I always loved game-players. I'm a BB USA addict, they are so clever,game-players with a lot of strategies ans treasons. IN UK, it's like a crime to be like that. If you say "I'm here in order to win", you are hated. The game-players rock the show, imagine a full house of Liam, Tracey, Pete and Susie...how boring !
It's always great when we have strategies, conflicts and treasons !

Depends if they play the game well.

Richard and Grace played the game, and I liked both of them and admired them for it

But when people like Makosi play the game and take it one step to far, I find it hard to suppot or like them.
Same with Charley. Her game is pathetic and boring, and Im completely bored of her lying to her housemates about being loved.

Can't agree more, she made BB6 from the beginning to the end ! She was the star, she made so much drama about her, she was a great manipulative person with Kemal, Derek, Craig and Vanessa. It's one of the housemate I enjoyed the most to watch. Nobody can't be like her and nobody will in the BB History.

I agree. Its become a crime now to actually "play" the GAME. It would make great tv if everyone had a gameplan and to see whos worked best. As long as they arent offensive horrible people then hats off to the gameplayers defo

That's why it works for 8 series in America, it works very well. Watch that if you like game-players, strategies, bitching, treasons and naughty people !

I am following the US Big Brother, and they really take no prisoners. Plus the public has a mole in there to influence things in the house. Its brilliant! But I still prefer the UK version. I do wish people would lighten up and take it less seriously though. They get really emotional here!

People don't like gameplayers as it is seen as dishonest and not a quality people like. Makosi was a total bitch and came to spoil things for other people like ruining their special missions. and don't get me started on the pregnancy thing what an evil cow.

Although I don't like the American BB I agree with all you say regarding game players. The British like to treat BB like a game of skittles. Knock as many important skittles down in the first month then sit and watch paint dry....

I agree completely. I love the gameplayers, but I can't stand people who arse-lick, like Richard last year or Gerry this year for example. Makosi was the complete opposite; she played her housemates for fools and had them sucking up to her, at one point even Saskia was sucking up! She was so robbed.

I also don't like gameplayers who are playing an obvious sympathy-vote card. Other than that, if they're playing a great game then I like them for it. I wish our format allowed gameplayers a better chance and that it wasn't always such a popularity contest.

I guess so then! I actually prefer the BB UK, with all teh live evictions, and the publics vote, and the strict rules in the house. But just like you said, I only enjoy the 1st half of the show, but after that It becomes very happy go lucky! I have lived here 2 years so I am only starting to get the english culture, when it comes to BB. They take it very seriously!
