How can I improve this eye I have designed, I've tried experimenting with different colours and textures, however am still having a bit of trouble. I wanted to get that crome/steel/metal sort of effect, but yeah anyway, here it is...

I'm no good at graphics either, I've just got a tidy bitta software lol, still cant get that 'crispness' Matt gets with his eyes though.
