Excellent start to the series.

Bit of a topical Stig intro there...

'it's time to hand it over to our tame racing-driver... Some say... he realised before anyone else that Jade Goody was a racist, pig-faced waste of blood and organs!'

Just watched it (of course had to tape it something else was on!!!!)

Brill- the boys are back, loved the skit where they resurfaced a road in 24 hours, and the crash, could see the tyre going - I am surprised that they didn't change the rubber - I mean must of got hot doing two runs. The car manufactors (sp) are trying to blame the hamster for not braking in time when the tyre burst

http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/...565106,00.html -

How the hell could you keep control of that sort of vehicle at 300 mph!!!!

ps has anybody got Ł78,000 to lend me -- want a new Jag!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Definitely one of the best. It was scary when the hamster nearly crashed into the pond with aligators!
I did notice he wasn`t wearing a crash helmet and guess this was filmed before his real accident.

The cow on Clarkson's roof.... and when it fell off

That confrontation with the red-necks was a bit scary if it was real. But funny the things they had on their cars as they drove through Alabama.

My housemate thinks it was fake, but I'm not so sure... I've heard some rough stuff that happens down that way

I thought it looked real... they got rid of the slogans on the cars pretty quick. as if they realised they had bitten off more than they could chew.

Quite shocking how bad it still is in New Orleans. It looked like the hurricane happened last week rather than last year. Looked like a cool pace to visit, New Orleans, before the hurricane.

The stretch limos they made in tonight's show and took to the Brits were hilarious.

Pity that was the last in the series.

Yes, I was surprised - I thought there were usually more episodes per series than that? Maybe Richard's accident meant that they had to have less. Brilliant show, almost made me cry with laughter.

There is usually 8 episodes in a series although some of the earlier series had 10 or 11 epsiodes.

Maybe though they didn't have the series as close together then. There's the Comic Relief special to come.
