It's not graphically amazing/using a lot of techniques obviously, but that's to be expected for someone creating a banner for the first time =]

You seem to have an eye for creating and putting things together.
Most people just shove a picture or two onto the screen, write something over it and change the colour a little, which usually ends up looking a mess.

It looks like you've downloaded some fonts possibly? or you've made good use of the default fonts, which is always a good start. Keep it up.
