Did anyone see the final of this programme. I saw about five minutes and just gave up! I presume Kurt won. No-one seemed to think much of our Will - shame that - no taste.

Well, all round it was a pretty poorly put together show - 60 mins long, yet nothing happened for 35 mins !!! And what was Victoria Beckham there for ??????? Probably the most popular singer won, but how can you judge World Idol on just one 2 minute segment. Remember that here in Australia, thats about the only thing we've ever seen of Will Young. Just as that is all you have seen of the others.
Perhaps they should run it over 3 or 4 weeks so we can see the range of talent each artist may have.

Anyway, it just smells of a hastily put together money spinner.

Yeah, Kurt won. Will was fifth.

I wonder if Kurt Nilsen wil be Norway's biggest pop act since A-ha. One of the first albums I bought was their Scoundrel Days.

Cringeworthy TV. Think Victoria Beckham being there and miming her latest single summed up this completely pointless 'show'. Feel sorry for all the Idols who were forced to take part in it.

Bit of news for you, Skip! Taken from article in the Observer (21.12.03) about where stars are off to for Christmas!

Pop hearthrob Will is spending Christmas with his family. Then he's off to Australia in the New Year. Primarily as a work tour and then he hopes to extend his time there by taking in other places such as Sidney and central Australia...and catch a bit of sun.... before he comes back.

So keep your ears and eyes peeled!
