I got this last week and is it just me or does this have hardly any effects like previous photoshops??? I might be wrong though. Can somebody help me please.

I have photoshop, but my school has fireworks, which I think it much better and easier to use. I think fireworks and photoshop are nearly the same, and that infact firewoks is better. (In my opinion).
