I hope it is true.

His attempts at humour are very poor and cringeworthy, his bias and favouritism for certain housemates is awful. I've had to stop watching BBLB because he makes such a mess of the show and he'll probably ruin the X Factor as well. We could be having someone much more professional and much more entertaining hosting the show than Dermot. I hope he leaves so next year I can start watching BBLB once again.

No.. this SERIES finishes 2 weeks away, the show doesn't. I think the sun are implying after series 8 he'll leave to do x-factor as I think he has a contract with them to do next years x-factor aswell as this years (which starts in 2 days, or 1 in my case, as I work nights and sleep days lol. )

I hope Dermot stays. He's a great presenter of BBLB and we have soooo got used to him. Or at least I have. I am always suspect about these newspaper articles anyway. They always seem to grab hold of any story and twist it into something bad. I know that Dermot is presenting the X-Factor and I can't wait for that to start, but Celebrity Big Brother next time may not have Dermot in, but Big Brother 9 would be a long way away and he probably would do that, at least I/we hope so.
