70% of the website users. That poll may not be reflective of the public as a whole.

Because that poll is not an accurate representation of those that actually pick up the phone to vote.

Yeah, but they are still fans.

Surely it's a typical example of how people feel. So it's that 70%, plus the 100(and something) on here that wanted Mario to go, the 997 on DS.

I'm sure all those speak for the public themselves.

Yeah, but they're not all the fans.

I'm sure there are some viewers out there who might not have access to the internet, or some who do have the internet but dont vote in such polls.

We have no proof that every single person that voted to evict Stephanie last night has voted in the aforementioned poll.

Stephanie's fate was most likely sealed very early on, while the public turned on Mario very late in the week.

Plus half of the things you mentioned do not represent the 3 million people who view, or the thousands who vote.

But surely..adding most of them ^^ together must come with a decent amount of votes.

Possibly, but obviously not enough to save Stephanie.

And there are people who could have voted in more than one poll, etc.

Not really. Not everyone votes! Only a small minority of BB viewers actually vote.

If only a small minority votes, then why is she out? 100'S AND 100'S said they was voting out Mario. ^^^ Billy already listed them. So if only a "small minority" votes then Mario should have gone.

Because 48% of the people who voted voted for Steph to be evicted. That's why!?

Just because a poll or people in a discussion forum said Mario should have gone doe snot mean he actually should have gone. These people obviously did not vote, or didnt try hard enough to get through. At the end of the day - Stephanie's gone, and people should just accept it.

I think Steph got most of her votes earlier on in the week before people turned against Mario.
If the lines would have opened Thursday Mario would have gone.
Peoples opinions on her changed over the week thats why someone so popular on the forums and polls went.

She shouldn't have went, Luke should have.

Anyway, apparently there was some kind of problem with the number to call for Mario.

Exactly. Stephanie's faith was sealed at the start of the week, and she must have been so far in the lead that Mario's votes could catch up. The public only turned on him mid-week.

At a guess, I'd say, perhaps a large amount of the voters are women in their 30's and maybe they aren't as prevalent on the net but they're the ones most likely to pick up the phone and actually vote.

I mean, someone can vote in an internet poll but that doesn't mean they are actually going to go off and vote.

I remember someone asking who actually votes here and there were lots of people who said they never vote but they added to the polls. I for example, add to the polls here but have never voted...

My opinion

Because the evictions have been so unpredictable the last days and that's why the ratings are going down... because the evicted housemates are not the persons that the public voted for

I don't think it was that unpredictable.Steph was favorite to go until midweek and it was always going to be close.
