So what would YOU be like in the house?
Everyone has an opinion on the housemates and their behaviour in the house, what's right and wrong about someone and express love or hate for certain individuals. But when housemates come out and have their interviews they always say, "It's not what I expected," or "It's different actually being in there," or "You really don't get what it's like to be in the house unless you do it yourself."
Can we really judge what the housemates do once they enter the house? As an audience, we have the benefit to oversee almost all what's happening. Inside away from access to the media, it's impossible for the housemates themselves to be aware of everything that is said and done in the whole house. The housemates have only the view they get from their own standpoint and the opinions of others. As media savvy this year's housemates are (and they're the most media savvy housemates there's ever been), they still don't see things the same way as the audience.
If you were in the house right now would you definitely have the same opinions and views on housemates you've expressed on here? Are the things you say about housemates, both positive and negative, things you'd like/hate to have said about you if you were in the house?
I really like Luke but I'm prepared to think that my opinion may be different if I was in the house with him. I like Rex but if I was in the house I might think he was idiot and put him up for eviction every week. I'm not especially fussed about Maysoon and would happily vote her out as soon as she's up, but in the house I'm sure I'd probably find her a really nice girl. I probably would still find Mikey a bit annoying, though.
For myself, I'd like to think I'd be mostly laid back with just a dash of bitching where justified. But I would never actually be really sure just how I'd behave or react to other people and situations in that particular and specially designed environment.
