Taking up his usual evening position on the sofa, Jason tells Dan he has undergone a mood change and is feeling happy to be in the House.

Meanwhile, Dan, was prowling around the kitchen in search of Victor's chocolate malt drink and practically growled when the Scotsman informed him it was finished.

Disappointed at not finding any suitable snacks, Dan joined Jason on the sofa and complained of his weight loss. He was unimpressed by the limited food rations. "I'm beginning to look gaunt. I look as if I'm wearing blusher all the time."

Jay flatteringly told him he has good bone structure, but Dan replied: "There's good bone structure and there's skeletal!"

In an attempt to lighten the mood, Jason told his companion why he was feeling better: "If you're up for eviction and you don't go, you feel quite good."

But Dan lamented, "I've wanted to go since the first time I was up." Jason looked surprised and Dan conceded he didn't feel like that all the time. "It's just a Friday feeling," he grumbled.

Jason, who was in a surprisingly upbeat mood, told Dan that he must be doing something right in the House as he has survived three evictions.

But every silver lining has a cloud for Dan tonight as he replied, "It's not because people want me in here, it's because they want the other person out more."

"You've got another week you might as well enjoy it," advised Jason. But Dan's grumpy mood continued and in the end, Jason barked at the hairdresser: "Go and get some fresh air!"

Don't worry, Dan. The end is in sight. It's not long before you get that much-needed breath of fresh air.
