The coldest winter for over a decade is set to reawaken after 2 weeks of milder and drier conditons.
High pressure has brought dull but yet dry and mild weather to the majority of the UK over the past fornight, but the high pressure looks to break over the weekend bringing an unsettled period with some rainfall for most before turning cold next week.
Kwik Weather Forecasting Services, senior forecaster Rob Howard commented "The meteorolgical date for spring may March 1st but winter's still not finished yet, things look to turn much colder next week with the possbililty of more snowfall"
So it looks like all hope of early spring has gone out the window now, time to wrap up once again.
