Mark: The public love my Kerry
Quote:
Mark: The public love my Kerry MARK Croft thinks wife Kerry Katona is MORE popular after her slurring, awkward interview on This Morning.
The Iceland star’s hubby seems deluded about the effect the whole debacle has had on Kerry's persona, assuming the increased press coverage equals booming popularity.
He tells Star magazine: “The public love her.
“If her career has gone downhill, it’s a funny hill we’re going down.
“Kerry’s more popular now then ever – is that a downfall? Who is more written about than Kerry?"
Mark then defended allowing Kerry to appear, despite her being in an obviously unfit state.
He blasted critics, saying: “Kerry’s got a medical condition called Bipolar, so if people want to think she is drinking, well, that’s shallow-minded. That’s their decision to think that.
“(I allowed her on This Morning) because I’m Kerry’s husband and she has a medical condition.
“If Kerry was in a wheelchair, would I not take her to the show because she’s in a wheelchair?”Mark has also rubbished claims he is controlling Kerry.
Although he admits managing his wife’s diary and taking care of all calls on her mobile phone, he claims he is fed up of being used as a scapegoat.
He added: “The only people who say I’m controlling Kerry are the press. None of Kerry’s family say I’m taking over her.”
