And??

So you can spell perfectly can you? Why do people have to pick up everyone's spelling mistakes? This is a forum, not english class. Have you thought that some users on here may be dyslexic? Some people just have no luck with spelling, that's no reference to the OP. God, I know when I'm post-ictal my spelling goes out the window and the last thing I want is people picking my posts apart over it.

Well surely if a dyslexic person, is told how to spell a word correctly, then it is a benefit to them!

I know my Dad likes me to help him spell words when he doesn't know how to spell them! <- He's Dyslexic

Yes, I understand where you are coming from, but there are two sides to it. I work with a dyslexic lady and she gets very embarassed by it, I think she would be mortified if I started pointing her mistakes out to her. While some people, such as your Dad (and fair play to him for wanting to beat the dyslexia) will appreciate being told, but others (such as myself on postictal day) might not want to know.

It can come across a bit arrogant is all. But if you are only trying to help then fair enough.

We could get really petty over this and, I could say that you didn't put a double space after your first sentence.

But I won't!

The difference being im not going around correcting other peoples spelling. You are. Besides, capital letters rate slightly higher on the importance scale in the real world than ... measuring out how far across the page your going to start your next sentence.

ahaha, I remember when I was rather new and I complained about Ann, not knowing she had difficulties and everyone literally killed upon me.

How are you anyway Stu? You vanished again!

Please. I hardly go around on a mission to correct spelling. You make it sound as if i do. I was simply saying that MonkeyMadness had spelt 'entrance' wrong...

God, shoot me!

Wrong, I never said you go around on a mission. I was reffering to this one single thread. And I called you up on it. Because I loved the hypocrisy of correcting somebody when you yourself had grammar errors. Bottom line, it is retarded. Even more so when you say ''now im not going to get petty and say...'' but you go on and say it anyway.

Hardly shooting you, just pointing out something simple that you are seemingly at a loss to handle.

No, I'm not dyslexic. I'm actually very good at spelling, but some days I can get really bad due to a health issue. I've had days where I can't even spell my name! Those days I don't really bother with forums as one day a FM (not on here BTW) picked apart one of my posts and said some pretty nasty stuff about me. Hence why I get touchy about people picking out mistakes.
