Default Why do some people bother watching Big Brother ?

Seriously, why would someone watch Big Brother, then sulk and start screaming they won't watch it anymore, if their favourite is evicted ?

I sometimes question the housemates that go into Big Brother, then look/act all confused because they have never seen the show. WHY would anyone enter a game show without doing any homework on it?

I understand celebrates going in there blind, because their manager has advised them that it could be in their interest.

The same can be asked of viewers that start moaning when their favourite housemate is evicted. Do they honestly think all the housemates will be in it to the final week, because they are not!

Surely the viewers and I'm including long time fans of the show know how the game works. It's not going to be a bed of roses for everyone is it ?

Just enjoy the show, shout at the screen if it annoys you, but stop going on about how you will stop watching it is **** goes.

I'm not trying to start an argument here, I am genuinely interested why a persons eviction would stop people watching the show. They certainly didn't know their 'favourite' housemate before the show started.

I watch Big Brother to be entertained, if entertaining characters leave, why would I watch?

...because I've had long enough to see what all the HMs bring to the table and there are only 3 who have brought anything remotely interesting, different or entertaining. The others are cliches and stereotypes who hold no interest whatsoever for me therefore I will simply choose not to watch them.

Just because I know how the game works doesn't mean I am going to watch paint dry for weeks as Rodrigo and Charlie pretend to alternately love/hate each other and Lisa and David grunt at each other ad infinitum (yawn).

Thats a genuine answer in repsonse to your genuine interest btw

That's precisely the point - we won't watch it any more when they are gone. That answers your own question
