Default is freddie only popular when he gets bullied?

I have noticed that freddie seems to get popular only when he is bullied.

Anyone Agree?

Apparently. He rose to the top of the charts because of we felt sorry for him on account of him being bullied without obvious cause, and the way he took it on the chin.

He does seem to gain more support when he is bullied. But he has a lot of fans either way.

Freddy has a big fan base, me being one of them. However I agree, he seems to get ranted at then everyone seems to gain sympathy. Good for us Freddy fans as they might actually keep him in, haha.

People do love an underdog, and I do think Freddie gained a lot of fans he perhaps wouldn't otherwise of done had he not been treated so badly by other HM's in the first few weeks of the show.

Now that Bea has turned on him completely and broken the man down, I'm sure he will gain some sympathy supporters again.

Speaking for myself personally though, I've always liked Freddie, I didn't like when he became a bit cocky last week and his rose tinted view of Bea took him off track for a while, but I didn't stop liking him completely based on any of that, a lot of people did stop supporting him though.

Well I've liked him since Day 2, through thick and thin. However it does seem that a lot of people do prefer him when he is the underdog. As soon as he starts getting confident, and sticking up for himself people go off him. Which is a shame.

He gets popular with the niche of forum nerds when he plays the sympathy card on camera, and then the bandwagoners come out in force.

He's a pathetic little man; resorts to fake crying, getting 'bullied', blowing issues out of proportion and over analysing everything ...

He is a joke, period. He is such a joke.

I agree Loads - there is NOTHING to like about that awful individual - people started liking him just as a reaction to bullying.

He is disgusting and Bea had to move beds as could'nt take it anymore.

PS - Next Canadian delicasy on pic please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Claymore, how much have you put on his eviction?

I think the bookies have misjudged this one, Halfwit will rile up so many chavs, general viewers and Charlie/Sophie fans (that's millions then) that he may well get evicted over Marcus ...

Also, even if he did get a bit of sympathy voting (won't get much overally IMO), how on earth would that translate to Marcus eviction votes? He's his loyal friend. If anything, he'd be booted for his own sanity.

Good luck, I think I might place a bet too. Remember to vote yourself though, gotta do it.

Just Ł100 and can trade some of it off - I knew full well Marcus is going when I saw the opening odds. I DID try to warn the Marcus fans that bookies never opened incorrectly since BB7 (Scouser Mikey @ 26/1)

I do this sometimes just when have too much winnings.............instead of sensibleI just give away money.....Rebecca when Mario was obviously going, Unlike a gambler should do, I get involved. I shouldn't care who stays, but having to watch the show to understand has made me HATE Halfarse

Bullied?

But yes, I see where you are coming from. Just over 24 hours ago he was hated after acting a complete twat on the HL show. Now, everyone sucker is jumping back on his bangwagon. Quite pathetic really.

I don't think he's being bullied. Such an overused word on BB these days.

They're all grown adults who can walk out the door at any point. Please remember that before going overboard with your "broken man" claims. You should also remember that this is a game with a Ł100,000 prize. It sometimes suits people to play the victim.

Freddy strikes me as the type to enjoy domineering women who boss him around. Indeed, Bea looks like the classic henpecking wife when having a go at him. She's playing a bad game. He needs to grow a pair.

And YES he is only popular when the victim. It counteracts his snobby, superior poshness that people otherwise dislike.

Bumbag he is not ONLY popular when he is the victim, he has not been the victim recently for about 4 weeks until the past few days, and he still retained a lot of support. Not all fans are fickle enough to like someone just because they are the underdog. Some, yes, but not all.

In my opinion she moved beds in a passive aggressive attack on Halfwit. I think that's too much! You can readily see how upset he got over it.

He deserved to be taken down a peg; not to be destroyed.

No, he has fans anyway...many who dont even believe he was bllied. Why are some people reluctant to accept that people may genuinely like the guy? Hes harmless.
