After watching the re-runs today and just as a little counter to one or two stupid, biased threads, thought I'd throw this out...
Not sure I have to really, as most posters already seem to agree he had a 'good eviction'. Freddie was received with REAL warmth by almost ALL those who were involved in the interview shows (interviewers / audience), including Davina, Terry Christian, Abi, even McCririck, almost all audience members asking questions, and also I would say 80% of the crowd on his eviction from the house. And people were still honest with him about his faults (which he took with good grace), yet you could see there was NO malice thrown at him at all (unlike so many other evictions). That one guy called him a 'legend but a bellend' on BBBM, trying to be funny (never seen anyone look and sound like such a t*sser and call someone ELSE a bellend - Freddie still laughed in good humour). Handled himself with charm, dignity, humility and had fun! The real Freddie, when away from that monster house... He is a strange, yet totally endearing character to many, but some people are always going to hate him because they don't get him. Hate on and let us all now enjoy the well-deserved hositility thrown at most of the rest of the HMs on their exits. It aint going to be pretty folks... ![]() |

Nice post.
![]() I was happy that Freddie was so well recieved, even that prat John McCririck seemed to like him. Didn't watch BBBM but Freddie seems a good sport so I can imagine him laughing through it, I'm going to miss him but in some ways I'm glad he's out, now he'll have a better time with all his lovely friends and fans. Now we need Bea out! ![]() |

I was relieved he was voted out to save his sanity - that evil cow was undermining him at every opportunity. I hope the HM can see through enough to nominate her this week, Lisa already has.

Best interview and BBBM of the series so far imo.
Was really nice to see Freddie so relaxed, given a chance to put his side accross, and I thought he came out of it looking like a really genuine, lovely guy. Davina was actually great for a change, the audience were good, and I'm glad they actually dedicated the whole hour on BBBM to Freddie and not the usual guff they have from about halfway in. Will really miss Freddie, awesome HM, Bea should have been sat where he was last night, but I really think he's better off out of that house. |

I really do think HMs behave in ways they may not normally when in that house, it must be one hell of a pressure-cooker atmosphere - all accentauted (Marcus seems to appreciate that). Freddie was himself, made some mistakes, and went on a bit of a journey, but seems to have come out the other end all the better for it....
Bea is also herself, because there is no way you would behave like that unless it was a central part of who you are... ...some of the chavs who post on here have no idea what it must be like because they don't even TRY to understand the human dynamics of why people may act the way they may do on BB. |
