Big Brother has its highest wednesday night ratings of the series
From insidebig brother
Day 78:
Big Brother attracted its highest Wednesday night audience of the series last night, as the ratings show no signs of declining.
Last night’s highlights show brought in 2.5m (11%).
It was the most watched Wednesday episode of the series, up 200,000 compared to the previous week.
It put Big Brother third in the 9pm slot, as the Beeb took control of the hour with 6m for Who Do You Think You Are and 3.2m for Dragon’s Den.
ITV1 had an abysmal evening, averaging just 1.5m (7%) between 7:30-10pm for their Champions League Playoff match between Panathinaikos and Atletico Madrid. Unconfirmed reports suggest that it may have been ITV’s worst primetime performance in history.
So far this week, Big Brother is averaging 2.21m. This is the second highest Saturday-Wednesday average of the series.
