Anyone ever played Age of Empires

think it was one of the first ever games i played on PC

Just downloaded the 2nd one for free

That was just amazing. I used to play when I was around 12 and I could spend hours and hours on it.

I've heard of it and I think I played it before, I've always wanted to play the PC versions but I've never got round to it. It looks fun though, I quite like strategy games.

Played that for ages..

the first 2 and the golden age then the 3rd one and age of mythology.

Amazing game.

It wouldn't work, the game was never made for HD so you'd just end up seeing all the graphical imperfections in greater detail.
