I love zombie films. It's either them or vampire flicks that that give me the...scares.
But it appears many producers and directors have major problems making them. Either they're of the shaky camera ilk, which I hate. Or they're made into zombie comedies which I don't think work very well. I like zombie films to scare. I've only seen about three good zombie films in about so many years. Don't get me started on Diary of the Dead - we showed that at my grandmother's 80th and she too was bored by it! |

Yeah, I agree, they're cheap to make and it's my favourite genre, too. Pity there aren't enough of them being made. I say one a week!
We'll have to agree to disagree about Diary of the Dead. Least you enjoyed it though! |

Didn't someone make one recently for about £50 and it's been pretty well-received at film festivals?

That 50 quid movie looks like a bag of fish to me, sorry to go against the grain.

I like most of the Romero's movies...just...Dawn of the dead bores me. I prefer the remake. |

I hate you all.

Romero needs to give up. The only movie I liked was Dawn of the Dead. I also enjoyed the first Resident Evil.
28 Days/Weeks Later are not technically zombie movies, but they are my favourite out of the horror genre. |

He said that he was only ever going to do a trilogy but he said in an interview that he's no longer making any more serious movies, so he's just going to enjoy making the movies he loves the most, which are the Dead series... |
