I'm a Celeb on its way out??

ITV has started developing a new show inspired by the I'm A Celebrity... bushtucker trials.

According to The Sun, the programme will be called The Door and will feature celebrities eating kangaroo testicles and witchetty grubs like on the ITV1 reality show.

Contestants will also be encouraged to face their fears with challenges such as walking on glass.

"ITV bosses have long been impressed by how much viewers love watching bushtucker trials," said a source. "This new show is the perfect way to extend that. Instead of viewers having to wait once a year to watch them, they will be able to do so every week."

The Door will be produced by I'm A Celebrity... executive Natalka Znak.

It just sounds like a more full on version of Beat The Star but without the ordinary contestant

I think it would be fine as a 1 off or a 2 parter or something but not a whole series, it will get boring by week 4
