Default Best of 2009?

Almost all of the big releases of 2009 have now been released or have trailers/teasers available for you to see, so I thought I'd ask what have been the highlights for you thus far.

For me, Watchmen was incredible. Inglourious Basterds too. The Hangover was hilarious and Star Trek was surprisingly good [to someone who's never 'got' the whole ST thing].

I really enjoyed Watchmen, Gran Torino and I Love You Man, but the film that wins for me is District 9 so far. I'm looking forward to seeing Up, Moon and Looking for Eric too.

Oh, and a 2008 film that was released here this year and blew my mind was Synecdoche, New York. So yeah, District 9 and Synecdoche, New York are my favs.
