I saw someone on DS suggest they cover Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas, and thought it was a brilliant idea, shame they're not doing that.

lol. I like the band aid idea. They should have covered a christmas song like that! I remember in pop idol they covered a christmas song. Would have been better. However cant wait to hear this version of you are not alone!

I didn't think they would do it this year, but I suppose Simon's just taken a £3m pay cut - he needs to make it back some how.

I suppose it is a good choice, in some ways. A good tribute to MJ (Well, I might take it back once I've heard the finished product) - and it would help raise a lot of money for charity.

yeah its for charity so I hope it goes to number one! I think a christmas single would have been better like release a xmas single at the beginning of december with the group performing it. Then the winners single in the middle of december.
