I think that we need to stabilise a bit before dramatic change. I think that Gordon Brown is actually trying to sort things out and is indeed picking up after Tony Blaire's mess. Times are hard for the government so I'd rather see someone who has experience back for 4 of the most vital years in economic history.. rather than an in-experienced party. I think that once the economy is safe and sound and back on it's feet.. then we can start to think about changing everything.

Labour.

Better the devil you know and the Tory Toffs will screw this country right into the ground if they get in.

I'll throw in my tuppenceworth (euro 50c).............Scottish Nationalist as I believe their policies more closely fit my beliefs about socialism than New Labour, and I also want to send the clear message that it's time for freedom.

Worryingly, Lib Dem. It's either them, the Tories or UKIP in my constituency as they're the three closest to win...and I'd rather not contribute to David Cameron's inevitable victory. Oh and UKIP are just silly.

Normally I'm a Conservative but I can't stand Cameron.

A vote for the conservative party would under the current system be wasted, so I will probably vote for the SNP. Not for their nationalist agenda, but because most of the rest of their policies make sense. Their ideas for an Independant Scotland though are laughable.

To give some examples - if Labour squeek back ito power it will be because Scotland get them past the winning post. If the country of England & Wales massively elect a Tory government as I expect, it is so untenable having no MPs to staff the Scottish Office roles. Scotland would be a socialist country electing socialist MPs and a strong socialist regional Parliament run by a Tory English Government .

PMSL well you never know you may see just how many scots want to be independant after the election, oh so long as the SNP do gain a majority, and uncle alex decides maybe to push for a national referendum, if he believes his propaganda (to quote your word) has been believed by the majority of us mugs, oops scottish voters.

I'm not sure, I'd want to vote Lib Dem but it'd be a wasted vote. I just don't want Cameron in charge so it'll be either Labour or Lib Dem.
