As it says in the title (in light of the fact that 2020’s a strong contender for the worst year).

2013 was the year EastEnders began officially became irrelevant and it’s never truly bounced back in the public eye since, not even for the 2015 live.
I enjoyed Berridge’s era all in all but there’s no denying how low the public perception was for most of 2004 so I had to list it in the poll.

2017 was insufferable, I don’t think I enjoyed a single story/episode till December when it finally had a brief bounce back (before returning to largely awfulness in 2018)

It made 2013 look like a golden year.

Christmas 2017 was the last decent thing to happen. Ever since then it’s felt like an unfunny sitcom, GCSE drama writing and scenes, everyone going through something bad. They’re under the impression that depressing stories = entertainment and showcasing a characters full potential which is not true. And even if that was the case at least make the depressing storylines interesting
