Default Housemates already “in hiding”...
According to Totalbigbrother....




Big Brother 8’s Gerry has exclusively told Total Big Brother that housemates for the upcoming eleventh series are already in hiding.

Gerry told TBB via Twitter: “The new housemates are already hidding (sic) but in Cornwall instead of Belgium & France!”

Traditionally, the housemates are sent abroad before the series starts but this year they’ll be sent to remote parts of the country to save money.

Gerry also told us that the BB11 eye “will be out soon”. Hmmm… could it be out tonight, we wonder? Don’t forget to join us tonight for our coverage in anticipation of a possible eye release!

With the news that Freederm are the official sponsors of BB11, Gerry claimed that the series “will be aimed at a younger market”.

And to finish things off, he revealed that BB8 winner Brian Belo will have a permanent daily role on E4 spin-off Big Brother’s Little Brother. He’ll join George Lamb and Emma Willis who will be co-presenting the show.

Brian Belo was a reguular on BBLB during CBB7, every day. it was cringeworthy but not terrible.
I suppose they wrent sent overseas because of the fears that an ash cloud would not allow them to be brought back on launch night.
In all honesty HMs could always be held in the country, with no access to TV or internet. they could watch movies all day. Or the movie channel.
