he is actually pretty smart. The reason people hate him is because he is very direct, he tells it like he sees it, without being politically correct. What makes him stupid is that he hasn't got the intelligence to use a little tact instead of blurting out every half-baked idea that pops into his head. You don't have a duty to "tell it like it is", sometimes it's better and more intelligent to leave some things unsaid.

As for what we do in "this country", that's a bit of a wild generalisation. I've been to quite a few countries - including Australia - and you get idiots wherever you go.
