I like Sharon as a person but her and Louis are both poor judges in my opinion.
Simon beats them both and thats both of them put together. |

If I had to put them in order it would be,
1. Simon 2. Sharon 3. Louis Simon is honest, wether it is his act or not, Sharon and Louis are taken over by emotion and keep in acts that arent necessarily the better talented to their other bottom 2 rival (if you understand what I mean) I like Sharon alot and she is truthful alot of the time, Louis says everything is good and never gives negative critisism to his acts even when everyone else and himself deep down knows the perfromance was awful. |

Simon - he's honest about the contestants performance. You can tell with Sharon that she sometimes wants to say how bad their performance was, but she doesn't have the heart if it's someone she likes. And don't get me started on Louis Walsh...

So many people say that Simon is honest, yet he's quite blatantly lied three times over in this series alone. He's nasty, petty and thinks with his wallet, but he's most certainly not honest.

I think Simon is always honest with his assessment of how the contestants have performed.

Of course Simon's no angel, but I don't think he's nasty or petty - certainly not compared to Louis in the petty stakes! Simon probably does think with his wallet, but most people want to make money from what they do, whatever that is!

Okay, I was expecting to be ignored for going against the grain of the thread, so didn't bother going into any detail.
But I'll try to explain my points a little:Was Brenda's performance last Saturday worthy of the superlatives he came out with? I don't think it was. I think it was average, at best. Pretty much the same as far as Journey South's performance was concerned, too. He's also told a few acts that most of their performance was out of tune in previous weeks, when they've in fact fluffed 2 or 3 notes. Yet in those same shows, he's heaped praise on acts that have missed more notes than the act he'd previously criticised. I think that's dishonest. He wouldn't have earned himself the nickname 'Mr. Nasty' if there wasn’t some element of truth behind it. And the difference between the introductions he gave to the Conway Sisters and Journey South I found very petty. Regardless of what has happened in previous weeks, he's supposed to be their mentor, and should've at least made an effort on their behalf. As far as thinking with his wallet is concerned, I'd agree with your point in most instances, Ruth. But he's supposed to be a judge, and therefore impartial. Not only did he let down his own act by sending them home in spite of their performance being better than Chico's, he was more interested in the following week's ratings than the quality of the performances (regardless of how little 'quality' the Conway Sisters have to offer). |

I voted Sharon as she makes me laugh, I would have had more respect for Simon had he sent the conway sisters home the night they were up against Maria, he keeps saying this is a talent show, on that night without a doubt, Maria was the more talented yet he kept them in and then kicked them out when they were against chico of all people, he is a entertainer but still based on talent the girls were better, like someone said I think he Simon was thinking with his wallet on Saturday, as for those shameless plugs both he and Louis did for their groups were terrible too!!

I voted Sharon.
But this series I am not leaning towards any of the judges. She is the one this year who has annoyed me the least. |
