I think that most housemates have good points and bad points. There isn't anyone I hate in the house and even the ones i dislike can make me laugh sometimes.

The trouble is that is trying to rationalise people who are nasty in there to other people just because they are different or because they are jealous of them in some way. These kinds of people will not tolerate differences or faults (or however you want to look at it) in others but will look to break them down and isolate them.

Unless I am suffering from senile dementia ( and I could be) I am sure I have never rationalized anything caoimhe has said or done. I said most of the housemates have both good points and bad, and even the ones I dislike have made me laugh.

Caoimhe talked sense to ben, just as Corin talked sense to Sunshine the other night. Its just a pity neither followed the advice they received. That is not rationalizing anything bad that either have done, just stating a fact.

Some things people do or say in the house are very bad. But I don;t believe that anyone in there is the epitome of all evil. If someone has been particularly horrible I will say so, regardless of whether or not I like them.
