The celebrities will be treated to a party tonight - but half of the house won't be on the guestlist.

This afternoon Big Brother asked for the "most entertaining" housemate to come to the diary room. In doing so, Michael automatically appointed himself the familiar role of quiz master for the group's first task.

He picked George and Traci to be team captains, who then in turn had to pick their respective team members. Traci picked Rula, Maggot, Chantelle and Jodie, while George chose Faria, Preston, Dennis and Pete.

In the quiz, which will take place this afternoon, the housemates will be tested on each other's personal histories and fields of expertise. The team who answers the most questions correctly will win the party. The quizmaster will also land an invite if he fulfills his role as a "fair and impartial" host.

Before the task was announced, Big Brother provided celeb imposter Chantelle with an extensive back history, from which her questions will be set.
