Default BB website is cr@p - (not this onebtw!)

What do folks think of the channel 4 bb news website?

I cant believe what a pile of sh1te it is!! Every time you move to a different page it freezes for ages, the info is boring and badly written with spelling mistakes, grammatical mistakes, html mistakes etc etc.

The poll is a laugh, you only get a choice of two answers quite often neither of which say what you want, when you get the results they overlap with the questions making them very hard to read.

Personally I cant watch the videos which I know is because of my netbook as I can watch them on my pc, however, I could watch them on the netbook last year so they've obviously changed them - was there any need?

I put a comment on pointing out some of the above but, you know what, they didnt post it!!! Sheesh.

Just a thought, Have you loaded, or are you able to download the latest Adobe Flash Player to your netbook?

BTW I generally agree with your comments above.

Another thought, if you have a USB outlet and a flash memory stick, copy the URL from BB site to the Mem stick and transfer it to your comp later.

Good idea, it takes ages to go back through the website trying to find the ones I wanted to watch. God, how lazy of me tho!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who is experiencing much the same as yourself Talulabelle. When I log onto the site it is slow and I avoid watching clips simply because they are extremely slow even though I have also downloaded Abode Flash Player. On occassions it tells me that 'Abode Flash Player has Crashed.' So I try to read the latest but still slow and I know it is not my computer. It is very difficult to keep up to date with the site. In fact if I want to know what the latest is I tend to log onto THIBB. The only problem with THIBB is that there are a lot of repetitive topics and if there is a topic that I am particularly interested in I find that it has quickly gone down the page, even onto the next page. However I do find THIBB much more informative than the website.

Yep, they must've changed the people who designed and run it (dunno if this is by same people who do rest of channel 4 website) as I've really enjoyed using the site in previous years. Its really frustrating and I get annoyed at the lack of professionalism when it comes to the spelliing and grammar. There also used to be a lot more wit and sarcasm in the info which is lacking this year
