She did cause the whole crisp-gate. And yep she has had a real issue with Dave. And I think she is one of the reasons other girls have walked.

But she can also be fun, and she is involved in the major storyline JJJ. And at times she can seem real down to earth. I'd prefer her to win over John James.

However I would rather it if Sam Pepper beat her

She has fallen from grace with me again today, she has done nothing but bad mouth and moan about Sam. Nothing to do with JJames being friendly with him again.

He's worse than her!!!!...But I agreed with most of what you say about Boring Josie!...but Makosi was a class above her on the deviousness!

I think that both Josie and BB have sold her well. They present her as down-to-earth, which is what she tells people. They highlight her funny moments, and she says she "realizes" she is funny. They focus on John James' issues, and she says that he has two sides, is frustrating, is very strange, etc. You also have a lot of the HMs praising her constantly (for what -- I'm not quite sure). It's like a joint effort between Josie, BB, and virtually all of the remaining HMs (not the evicted ones -- but they have less say and less influence). Tell people something enough and they believe it.

Plus a regular TV viewer might completely miss out on the fact that she spends most of her time in bed, that she completely made up all these nasty things that Caoimhe supposedly did, that she played a lot of manipulative games with John James, etc.

Is it my imagination or does she really seem to walk taller now that she has been put forward to the final?

Also, she seems to be getting irritated with JJames now that she's shot out ahead of him and doesn't really need him so much. It doesn't help that that for the same reason, JJames is getting irritated with her.

Hope she doesn't win - can't bear the thought of her being in with all the All-Stars.

Staying away from her physical... erm... attributes for a moment, your onion comment holds a lot of weight (no pun intended). Having seen through her early on (she was a favourite of mine at the start) I have been confused over the past months as to why her fans stuck with her despite overwhelming evidence of her dark manipulative side, I eventually came to the conclusion that her fans aren't capable of or interested in striping away the layers much beyond the superficial "dipsy girl next door" facade that she portrays in group situations.

I have worked for companies with aggressive sales departments in the past and learned that putting your trust in the sales staff was a stupid thing to as what they do for a living is basically lie. They are trained to sucker you in and tell you what you want to hear but all the while look out for number one and if they get good at it are rewarded for it financially. After a while the lying becomes second nature and it permeates into their private lives.

Josie was previously a successful saleswoman and has sold herself very well to the HMs but we have had the advantage of being able to study her candidly (or we did before Shabby left and BB turned it's focus to actively promoting Josie and the fauxmance) and see how she has a different act for each different interpersonal situation.
Dave said he'd never met anyone like her. I'd be interested in hearing what he really was inferring when he said that once he get out of the house and stops pretending to be everybody's mate.

Agree 100%,she was SO smug last night when they were doing the Rate my Mate task ,she came out whiter than white and smelling of roses ,she kept saying very meekly (puke) Im not the most entertaining (spot on fat fook ),Im not the most trustworthy (no your not,ask Keeva) it was stomach wrenching to say the least

Yep. That's a very good little summary. She's had a very good HL Show edit, no one who watches LF could deny that. I'll add to that, she was the first one to go into the house, had rapturous applause - all the other 80 potential HMs saw that. So, i think she was afforded extra treatment - and attention - from the start. She's been regularly called to Diary Room, another clear indication she's special. Then when new HMs came in, they also strongly hinted that she was they outside fav to win. So, basically most of the HMs have been tiptoeing around or sucking up to her for the last 2 months...

I actually think she's probably a bit genuinely mythed herself by the treatment she's received.
