I know this is old news but the decision that Josie had to make in the diary room between JJ and George was really crap considering she 'loves' him.
If the task had been for John James and was between proposing to someone or for Josie to walk round in a costume that highlighted one of her insecurities. He would never have chosen the second one, ever. She knows that that it would upset him and yet finds it hilarious. You don't do that if you love someone. |

the point of the Bob Righter Task is to do "the unexpected" ...thats what Josie did. It was for the sake of the house that she chose the costume for John James not because she wanted to.

Well, it is hilarious. But she still fundamentally chose it because she assumes it has some relevance to the task, not to make JJ1 feel bad. Her picking that option in the unpredictability task means she wouldn't have regularly picked it, regardless of how much she laughed at the idea/reality of it. If she were given the options outside of an unpredictability task, I think she'd go with the proposal, even though the crab costume is clearly funnier/more entertaining.

Well forcing a fat girl into a thong on national TV is on a different level of personal than forcing an attractive man into a crab costume, even with the crabeyes context. Come back to reality and stop seeing everything through Anti-Jose tinted glasses.

Josie ALWAYS expects John James to be the one that makes sacrifices NEVER herself. And she claims she loves him, it is all a show, and if it isn't then she needs to get her act together. It is always about Josie, when she says 'stop embarrasing me john' it really annoys me because he is reacting (usually) to something she has done to him. What she should be doing is talking to him, not making him feel stupid, because that is what it means to care about someone. |

I'm actually not anti Josie, my point is not the task or what BB wanted but Josie's decision itself with regard to his feelings (as someone who is in love).

double standards. People nit pick at john james on every little thing he does, yet when somebody else does it... it's a 'great' thing.
makes me sick |

So Corin chose the unexpected did she - dinner with Nathan give me strength this is totally biased this year BB they have set John up - best thing since slice bread for the first couple of weeks - eye candy for the girls get the viewers hooked - then slowly destroy a man (with a little help I know from himself) what about taking the contestants welfare into consideration they have a duty to do this, and they allow a thug to come into the house and have dinner with a housemate and the whole time Nathan is winding Corin up about John and they allow this - disgusting behaviour like to see this kind of thing happen in a workplace and for them to get away with it. Crab costume, Rachel, Nathan one day what other housemate has ever endured treatment like this?

JohnJames did not intend to wear the crab costume because he thought he would look like a prat, then as soon as JohnJoe comes out wearing his Sumo costume JJames has a change of heart and goes in to the DR and asks if he can still wear it. He then walks out in the garden having a laugh. Hardly ruddy him feeling "got at".
He is/was wanting to walk last night because he knows now for sure that the public are not going to be happy with the way he treat Rachael in the task room, his words, not mine. |

I think it would've been better if she had've picked George Lamb because at least then it would've been done with no arguments and whatever and she would've been face to face with George, I don't think she realised that, I think she thought it was going to be just where she was sat and through the camera without seeing him because BB said she would do it live on BBLB sooo

i think it's a bit of both, I think she wanted to prove a pint about the Corin make up thing and put him in the same position and he reacted exactly the way we all expected. I also think she felt propsoing to George might pi$$ him off more and I think she felt like she had to the unpredictable!!
At the end of the day he need sto admit to himself that he has crab eyes and get over it. There are worse things.... Last edited by blackparade; 19-08-2010 at 10:48 AM. |
