Default Brit Claims £113m EuroMillion prize!

THE £113 million EuroMillions Lottery jackpot won earlier this month has been claimed and paid out to a UK winner, Camelot said today.
The winner, from the draw on Friday October 8, is deciding whether or not to go public with the windfall.

The £113,019,926 jackpot is the biggest lottery prize to be paid out in the UK and the ticket-holder now sits at the top of the UK's National Lottery Rich List.

A spokeswoman for Camelot said a winning ticket had been produced and verified.

The lottery operator revealed yesterday it had received more than 1,000 lost ticket claims relating to the massive jackpot.

The previous largest lottery winner in the UK was an anonymous player who scooped £84.4 million on the EuroMillions draw in May.

Before this, Nigel Page and Justine Laycock, from Barnsley, Gloucestershire, broke the record in February after winning £56million on EuroMillions.

After the win, Mr Page, 43, and 41-year-old Miss Laycock, moved in to a £4million environmentally-friendly mansion - leaving their old £400,000 home to their cleaner Denise Kelso.

In the past 16 years, 2,400 people have become overnight millionaires through the lottery.

The latest winner, who could be an individual or a syndicate, defied odds of 76,275,360 to one to guess all seven numbers correctly.

The winning numbers were 9, 30, 35, 39 and 46, with lucky stars 6 and 8.

If I was them.. whatever amount of money I would win.. whether it is 113 million or 113 thousand.. I would keep it a secret!! lol

I would hate to be broadcast in the Newspapers and on TV if I ever won a large sum of money.....

Anyway not sure if this is true or not. Apparently the winning ticket was bought in Coventry?
